AI literacy for your whole team: a solid start in one afternoon
Does your team use ChatGPT, Copilot or other AI tools? The EU AI Act asks organisations to take measures that support the AI literacy of their staff. We provide a short online course with examples by role, a certificate of completion for everyone who passes the final test and a record that shows what you have done.

Why this matters now
-
2 February 2025
The duty already applies
Article 4 of the AI Act applies to every organisation that uses AI systems in its work, even if you only use existing tools and build nothing yourself.
-
July 2026
Measures, not an exam
In July 2026 the rule was amended: the AI Act asks for measures that support the AI literacy of your staff. A fixed level per employee or a certificate is not required. Recording what you do is sensible, though.
-
August 2026
Supervision is coming
Under the EU timetable, national supervision of the AI Act should have been working since August 2026. In the Netherlands, the supervisors have not yet been designated, but the rules already apply. The Dutch Data Protection Authority already publishes guidance on AI literacy.
How it works
Sign up
You register your organisation and tell us which AI tools you use, which rules apply and who employees can turn to. We put that on a page of your own in the course.
Take the course
Employees complete the course online at their own pace: just over an hour including the final test, in six short lessons. They can stop and pick up where they left off. Lesson 6 has examples by role.
Get your record
Every employee who passes the final test receives a certificate of completion. You receive a record: who completed the course, when and with what result. Every year there is an updated version of the course.

What your people learn
Practical and jargon-free. Not a theory course about how AI works, but how to use it safely and sensibly tomorrow morning.
Try the sample lesson on using AI chatbots safely

- What AI is, and is not How language models work and why they make convincing mistakes.
- Safe input What to put in a chatbot and what not: personal data, customer data, trade secrets.
- Checking output Verifying facts, tracing sources and spotting bias.
- Copyright and ownership What you may do with text and images that AI produces.
- The AI Act in brief Risk levels, banned practices and when you must disclose that something was made with AI.
- AI in your role Examples for customer service, marketing, HR, finance, IT and managers.

What your organisation gets
The AI Act does not prescribe how to achieve AI literacy. What counts is that you take appropriate measures, and it is sensible to record what you have done. So alongside the course you also get the paperwork.
- A certificate of completion for every employee who passes the final test, with name, date, lessons completed and score
- A record: who was trained, when, on which topics, and which AI tools and policy you use
- A page of your own in the course with your approved tools, rules and contacts
- A template for your AI use policy, ready to adapt
- An updated version of the course every year; if the rules change in between, we update the lessons and let you know
- The course in English and Dutch

See the templateDoes my organisation need to do anything about this?
If employees use AI systems for their work, the AI Act treats you as a deployer and Article 4 applies. That includes widely available tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot. Only personal use outside work falls outside it.
Can we use the course already?
Not yet. We are starting soon with ten pilot organisations. Sign up via 'Request a pilot' and we will let you know when you can begin. Pilot organisations get 30% off their first year.
Is a certificate required?
No. The AI Act asks organisations to take measures that support the AI literacy of their staff, appropriate to how you use AI. A fixed level per employee or a certificate is not required. It is sensible, though, to record who has completed which training, so you can show what you have done.
Is your certificate of completion officially recognised?
No. There is no official recognition or quality mark for AI literacy training. Our certificate of completion is proof of participation for your own records, with name, date, lessons completed and score. It shows that someone completed the course and passed the final test, not that your organisation complies with the AI Act.
Is the course enough?
For everyday use of tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot, the course, together with an AI use policy, is a good basis. If you use AI in decisions about people, such as recruitment or credit checks, you need extra measures, such as training on that specific system and human oversight. A course on its own does not guarantee that you comply with the AI Act.
What happens if we do nothing?
In the Netherlands, the supervisors for the AI Act have not yet been designated, and it is too early to say how strictly the rules will be enforced. The rules do already apply. If something goes wrong with your use of AI, you are in a stronger position if you can show that employees were prepared. Training and a written policy are the simplest steps towards that.
How long does the training take?
Just over an hour including the final test, in six short lessons. Employees can stop and pick up where they left off later. Every year there is an updated version of the course.
Which languages is the training available in?
Dutch and English. When you sign up, you tell us for each employee which language they will take the course in. You receive the record for your organisation in the language you choose.
What do you do with employees' data?
We only process what is needed for the training and the record: name, email address, organisation, department and language, progress, test results, certificates issued and the technical log files of the learning platform. The learning platform runs on servers in the Netherlands. We sign a data processing agreement with your organisation and do not use the data for anything else.
