Reporting a price error

This is the most useful message you can send, and it gets priority. Please include:

the page on this site showing the wrong figure
the vendor page showing the right one
the date you checked

Confirmed errors are corrected within 24 hours and, where the error affected a calculator's output, noted on the price change log so anyone who relied on the old figure can see what moved.

Requesting a calculator

If you have a costing question that none of the fourteen existing calculators answers, describe the decision you are trying to make rather than the tool you think you want. Several of the calculators here started as someone else's awkwardly specific question.

Vendors and pricing pages

If you publish AI pricing and your page is difficult to parse automatically — prices rendered only in JavaScript, or figures held in an image — we would rather read a structured source than guess. Send a link to a machine-readable price list and it will be used in preference to scraping.

We do not accept paid inclusion in the price index, sponsored guide content, or affiliate arrangements. The index covers what is significant, not what is paid for.
